1. Informational Use Only
ContractGuard is a tool designed to help flight attendants locate and understand relevant sections of their union contract. The information provided is for general informational purposes only and does not constitute legal advice.
2. Not a Substitute for Your Union Representative
ContractGuard does not replace your Local Council representative. Before filing a grievance, accepting or refusing a scheduling assignment, or taking any action based on contract interpretation, you should consult your union representative.
3. Accuracy Not Guaranteed
ContractGuard uses automated tools to interpret contract language. Answers may sometimes be incomplete, outdated, or incorrect. You are responsible for verifying any information provided before acting on it.
4. No Attorney-Client Relationship
Use of this tool does not create an attorney-client relationship or any other professional relationship between you and ContractGuard.
5. Your Account
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. Do not share your account with others.
6. Union Knowledge — User-Submitted Content
The Union Knowledge section contains grievance outcomes and rulings submitted by verified union representatives. ContractGuard does not independently verify the accuracy or completeness of submitted rulings. This content reflects the experiences and interpretations of individual contributors and may not apply to your situation. Do not rely on Union Knowledge rulings as legal precedent or guaranteed outcomes.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ContractGuard and its operators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of your use of, or inability to use, this service. This includes but is not limited to damages resulting from reliance on generated contract interpretations, scheduling decisions, grievance outcomes, or any other action taken based on information provided by ContractGuard.
ContractGuard is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. Your use of this service is at your sole risk.
8. Intellectual Property
All content, features, functionality, design, code, system logic, contract data, glossaries, prompts, and user interface elements of ContractGuard are the exclusive property of ContractGuard and its operators, and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on any part of this service without express written permission.
9. Prohibited Uses
You agree not to use ContractGuard for any of the following purposes:
• Reverse engineering, decompiling, or attempting to extract the source code, system prompts, data structures, or logic of this service.
• Scraping, crawling, or using automated tools to collect responses, data, or content from ContractGuard for any purpose.
• Using this service to research, develop, or build a competing product or service.
• Creating an account for the purpose of competitive intelligence, market research, or commercial gain unrelated to your personal use as a flight attendant.
• Sharing, reselling, or redistributing access to your account or the responses generated by this service.
• Using this service in any way that violates applicable law or these Terms of Service.
ContractGuard reserves the right to terminate any account found to be in violation of these prohibitions without notice or refund.
10. Refund Policy
All subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by applicable law. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us within 30 days of the charge and we will review your request. We reserve the right to issue refunds at our sole discretion.
11. Changes to These Terms
ContractGuard reserves the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
