ContractGuard is a tool built specifically for United Airlines flight attendants. Instead of searching through hundreds of pages of contract language while Scheduling is on the phone, you describe your situation and get an instant answer — with the exact JCBA section cited every time.
It is not a lawyer and it is not a union rep. It is a fast, accurate first step that helps you understand your rights and know what to say before you respond. It also includes a private Grievance Tracker to log your own cases, with more features coming soon.

Use Contract Guidance to look up any JCBA rule, benefit, or policy. Use Scheduling Defense when Scheduling is calling — chat through what's happening, then tap "Get My Defense Script" to get a clear answer on legality, what to say, and what you're owed.
Select your status (Reserve or Lineholder), the type of issue, and fill in the relevant details. The more specific you are, the more accurate the answer. You can also tap the mic icon next to the question field to speak your situation instead of typing — useful when Scheduling is on the phone.
ContractGuard returns the relevant contract sections and explains what applies to your situation — so you're informed and ready before you respond.
Copy or download the full answer to send to your rep. Log the situation in your Grievance Tracker so you have a running record if it turns into a grievance. Every question is also saved to Your History so you can review past answers anytime.
It can: Answer questions based on your contract, cite exact section language, apply contract rules to your specific times and situation, tell you what compensation you're owed, and generate a full Defense Script for scheduling situations. It also saves your history, lets you log incidents in a private Grievance Tracker, and accepts voice input so you can speak hands-free. Use the A+ button in the top-right corner to increase text size if needed.
It can't: File a grievance for you, represent you in a dispute, or replace your Local Council representative for complex situations. Always consult your union rep before filing a grievance.
ContractGuard works like an app on your phone — no App Store needed. Add it to your home screen for one-tap access, even when you're offline.
Open ContractGuard in Safari. Tap the Share button (box with arrow at the bottom of the screen), then scroll down and tap "Add to Home Screen". Tap Add in the top right.
Open ContractGuard in Chrome. Tap the three-dot menu (top right), then tap "Add to Home screen". Tap Add to confirm.
Once added, ContractGuard will appear on your home screen like any other app — with the ContractGuard icon.
